THE TEAM

Harriet’s journey began in the U.K., where her love for sports—especially tennis and hockey—took her to regional competitions. But it wasn’t just the game that sparked her passion—it was the thrill of travel. Family holidays planted the seed for a lifelong love of exploring the world.
At Lancaster University she obtained a first-class honours and distinction in her BA Geography and MA in Environment, Culture & Society degrees respectively. Today, she’s tackling her PhD in Sociology at the Zambian Open University, expanding her global view even further.
From the U.K. to Canada, Vietnam, Zambia, and China, Harriet’s career has been shaped by her wanderlust. As an ESL teacher, travel writer, and project assistant for a U.K. export consultancy, she’s worked on everything from educational content to international bid proposals in Ghana, Sudan, and Rwanda.
Harriet now lives in Hunan, China but tries to travel at every opportunity she gets! Some of her favourite travel destinations include the Brazilian Amazon, Cape Town and Kyoto. Whilst travelling Harriet pursues her passion for photography. She enjoys taking photos with her DSLR and the DJI.
Her passion for travel has evolved into a fascination with cultural behaviour, blending sociological, geographical, and business perspectives. Add in her love for creativity, PremoTalks is the perfect stage for Harriet to share her unique insights on these global themes.
